How to Unpack and Configure Manual IP of HP LaserJet 1606dn


 

Its seem to be very basic that how to unpack the electronic items, but sometime its cause of a big problem, due to improper unpacking electronic items. So always be careful when you unpack any electronic item. In this tutorial you will learn how to unpack HP Laser Jet 1606DN and its IP configuration. Lets Start:

How to:

1-  Unpack Printer from the box, Remove all orange colored sticky material as well plastic transparent sheet also.

2- Open upper cover of the printer as shown, remove the Plastic stick from the toner remove the toner also from the inside of Printer.

3-  With the toner you will find a ring (Orange Colored) pull it towards yourself also remove another ring from upper portion of toner.

4-  Plug power cable as well as Network cable to back side of Printer.

5-  Load papers in tray.

6-  Press and hold on upper second button (from front side of the printer) until it start printing.

7- It will print Network Information without any IP.

8- Leave printer and wait for 2-5 minutes it will take auto IP.

9- Repeat step number 7, now it will give an IP address.

10-  Open IE blank page type same IP that you have.

11- Select Networking Tab.

12- Now select Manual IP and put your required IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway as well as both DNS.

13- Move your cursor down and select Apply.

That’s it Your required IP address has been configured.

Type the same IP that you have configured in IE it will show you same printer configuration page.
