When you write in your browser “http”//yourdomain.com/wp/wp-admin” which redirect the page to blank page or redirect to default page or showing error “404” or “505”.There are some techniques to resolve this problem. This is happen normally when you run WordPress update. In this tutorial I will guide you how to resolve this problem.
There are some possible reasons for this problem
1- You have ran WordPress update.
2- You have received notice from some unknown site that your website is hacked. (I faced this experience).
Let try to resolve it.
1- Sometime it happens due to plugins conflict, few plug-in conflict with WordPress. Do one thing, log in into your hosting account, go file manager and find “wp” directory. Enter into “wp/wp-content”, here you will see a “plug-ins” folder. Change the name “plugins” to ”plugins_temp. go to your browser and try to log in in WordPress admin. If there is any conflict between plugins this way is remove conflict between plug-ins. This might work for you.
2- The way you can do is remove theme from hosting account, log in into hosting account find folder “wp/wp-content/theme”. Find your theme folder and rename it, for example “twenty eleven” to “twenty eleven_temp”. This will force WordPress to load default theme. Now go to your browser and try to log in into WordPress admin. This might work for you.
Over Write files
3- Try to get another fresh WordPress installed file in any other hosting. Go to (wp/wp-admin) copy all files except folders, and paste into the same folder of another hosting where you are facing problem.
- Select all file from here (wp/ap-admin).
- Right click on it, select compress.
- Download compressed file into your computer.
- Go to another hosting server where facing problem, upload the same zip file into same location.
- After uploading right click on it and select extract, which will over write files.
- It is better to take back of same files from hosting server where you are facing problem.
Over write files
4- If you are still facing problem, the another way is, repeat the same process (point 3). In point number 3 you have over written files of (wp/wp-admin). Here you have to over write (wp/wp-includes) folder instead of (wp/wp-admin) folder. Here you over write whole folder.
