This article will help you how to upload bulk images in WordPress media library. WordPress does not recognize any media file if you upload from your cpanel or using any ftp software like filzilla.

In this article I will show you how to Upload bulk images in WordPress media library, Lets take an example, suppose you have transferred your whole WordPress site to another hosting server successfully and  when you run your website on browser the images does not appear while you have uploaded all images to your new hosting server via  cpanel or FTP software. But WordPress does not recognize images files if you upload images from cpanel or from FTP software like filzilla or any other FTP software. After uploading images via cpanel or FTP software you need to do some more steps to clarify to WordPress. To upload images to media library successfully you all need to do is to install a plugin “add from server”. This plugin will make images to recognizable for WordPress. As you have already uploaded all your images to new host via cpanel or FTP software. Just install a plugin “add from server”. After installation go left menu on WordPress you will see one tab “add from server” added inside media tab. Click on “add from server” and go to upload folder select all images one by one and click import. WordPress creates year folders into upload folder. Go to each folder and select all images files from individual folder and click import button. Refresh your media library from WordPress left menu now you will see all media files in your media library. See below image for your reference:
